Here We Go…

So, my campaign kicked off tonight with a hustings in Bovey Tracey parish church.

It was quite lively at times, I quite enjoyed it, and the hoo-ha I had with one of the other candidate’s agent over my apparently blatant subversive attempt to discredit his boss by filming the event and posting it on line really added to the fun. So did the overt and often hilarious bias of the chairman who ensured Mel Stride had more than double the time afforded to me in which to speak. Still, that’s democracy I suppose.
